Let me ask you all something -

With Paragons, Rits, Necros, Splinter Weapon, Ursan, and more, I can blow up FoW with ease in HM with no difficulty. In fact, I can replicate this in any party of the game in any setting. It has been established that PvE isn't challenging. If PvE already takes no skill, then what is the point of procrastinating its demise even further?

Also - WTB BUFF FOR TRIPLE CHOP - +30 DOMAGE, DEEP WOUND IF ENCHANTED. ALSO - SPLINTER WEAPON SHOULD BE AFFECTED BY EXPERTISE FOR SUPER PEW PEW PEW.
::makes sound of jet fighters, lasers, guns, explosions, and other cool shit::


+1 for all of you that are taking this so seriously.

edit: spawnofebil's suggestion for x1000 sounds good too, as long as it affects monsters.

You know what?

This whole thing can be accomplished if you multiply every number in game by 1000. That way, you get humungous massive numbers ranging into the gazillions, and everything is still scaled the same, so balance wise, nothing's changed. In fact, you could even (this took me a LONG TIME to figure out) multiply overpowered skills by less, thereby balancing them and making them bigger at the same time!

Aren't I clever?

You are joking right? How is having +2 seconds back to stoneflesh aura, reverting mystic regen, and giving mesmers a PVE buff to make them more viable in PVE asking for 100 damage per hit?

I think some people are just skipping the whole OP and posting garbage based on what they think this thread is about.

Making farming as fun as it used to be and reverting skills back to what they used to be before they got ruined by PVP nerfs isnt asking for auto kill buttons.

Loot Scaling was put in for PvE, not PvP. Why does seperating the 2 game types suddenly make it viable for it to be removed?

Because I make such great money farming the idiots in RA...

Like how it has already been said, mob use the pve versions of the skills. Also in HM they have 20 attributes and move and attack 25% faster. If these skills are buffed, it infacts makes pve harder for mob who uses these skills. Also bosses get half cast/recharge time and double damage. I'm all for reverting all skill change made only because of pvp balance.

And for the idiots saying things like, let just makes auto attacks do 100, that make the game easier. Well seeing how the game works, HM mobs would then be doin 200 damage a hit and at 25% faster attack speed. I'd love to see how this would make the game easier.

Ummmm...you forgot to add an ursan buff to your list. Ursan strike and rage should have 1 sec recharge and rage should have 3 sec KD. Oh, and don't forgot the self-heal (6,7, and 8 slots are open )

It is impossible, even for a generic PvEr, to imagine such update in which the game would run at the /iddqd mode.

Some mod should take a look to his account, for watching if there were some strange activities.

I would like to see A-Net ONLY revert those skills that have become completely uselss in PvE due to a prior PvP nerf. Not those skills that have decent usefulness still.

For example, there really is no reason to revert Splinter Weapon. It's perfectly fine (and still widely used) in PvE. The only reason to revert it is to return it to ridiculousness.

There is also no reason to revert Mystic Regeneration, as it's rare that I see a Dervish not running it in PvE.

A good example of a skill that would be great to revert is Fay's Energizing Wind. A complete return of Incoming to its pre-nerf state would be welcome as well. I would also like to see a restoration of Verata's Sacrifice.

There's a number of skills out there that are just simply dead (i.e. very seldom used) that this PvE/PvP separation could really help. Begging for overpowering already powerful skills is just plain silly, IMO, and will just cheapen PvE beyond the ridiculous point where it is today.

The minute Anet decided to listen to the whining minority of ButtonSmashLetMeFarmMoarPlzKThxPvEPlayers and separate PvE from PvP Skills they blew it. I have no problem with PvE Skills, even Ursan, and if GoA is full of bears, I could not care less. But this whole idea of substituting lack of skill for "special" PvE-Versions and then somehow suggest that this would keep people from going inactive or reactivate old players is beyond me.

This decision plus the new utterly useless Zaishen-Title is reminding me of a child that is trying to safe its sandcastle from the flood by pouring more sand on top the castle. It's ridiculous.

My suggestion: Make "Double unbalanced Weekends" where we can have some fun with changing skills or items.


Edit: Or do the what the op suggested and go crazy on the skills. Would be fun to see.

How about unnerfing EoE? Fun skill for PvE, led to a few fun farms and every once in a while had the nice effect of backfiring and killing your whole team in vizunah square.

Splinter Weapon needs to be able to hit unlimited targets and the AoE needs to be bumped up to nearby range. Also, please make Mark of Pain an AoE hex with the AoE being in the area.

Totally balanced. The enemy could use blackout as a counter. With shadowsteps of course to get in range.

if the "small" buffs you're mentioning now are going to make or break the game, then whats wrong with the skills now? you're simply trying to powercreep the game into oblivion, just like Nightfall did, and to make matters worse, you think it's actually a form of balance.

if the game is too hard for you as it is now, then this game isn't for you. im all about skill changes and resurrecting dead skills ect, but this is simply buffing once overpowered junk, that finally got balanced, back into the mix of already out of balance present day.

sorry, you're out of luck if you want my sympathy for your lethargic playstyle.

p.s. farming has NEVER been more lucrative than SF Chaos Plains, so dont whine about that either, kthxbai
